This is a fun, soapy romp if you're open-minded and not offended by nudity and same sex 'action.' The characters are indeed just that, bigger than life typically allows, but still believable in their pursuit of personal desires and goals. It's truly entertaining, binge-worthy story-telling with some unexpected depth in the relationship between the two main characters. I was a bit let down by the rushed ending, but it can be forgiven if there's a season 2 to deliver more...
