I had this album new in 87 or 88. As a grown man now I see it in a whole new way. It’s a growing man searching and expressing his love to his God. There is a lil pop mixed in that pays respect to the past and a lil to the current strife of life. Jeff Lynne is all over this which I think adds to its enduring quality of easy listen ability and finding a deeper meaning 34 years later.
