Dr Hulse‘s book has been written in a very simple language and even a layman can understand. It clearly aimed at addressing the concerns around joint replacement and busting the myths surrounding it. I have read few other books written for patients by some Drs but this book touched every single aspect of joint replacement in its entirety right from understanding joints, causes of replacement, avoiding them, alternatives for JR, complications associated with it and post surgery care. He nicely explained all these parameters through 29 case discussions. Best part of this book is the FAQ which elaborately touches upon lot of questions that patients might have before, during and after surgery. This particular part gives the complete crux of what one should learn about replacements.
Overall this book is a big boon for people who needs to know more about replacements for taking an informed decision to prepare themselves for a surgery. I strongly recommend this book a compulsory read for everyone.
Thank you Dr Hulse for such a wonderful book.
