Eden Daniel

As a huge fan of the original, this movie completely blew me out of the water (pun intended). It was beautiful, funny, magical, emotional, and went deeper into the mythology of mermaids and has more similarities to the original story by Anderson. Halle's voice is one of the most beautiful I've ever heard. She is the perfect Ariel (a literal siren) and was clearly destined to play this part. The chemistry between her and Jonah and the rest of the cast was perfection. The original was one of my favorite movies growing up and this version did it so much justice and opened the world in ways I didn't expect! Kudos to the cast/crew on a phenomenal job!
