I watched Housefull 5 today and found it thoroughly disappointing. It a full 2:45 hrs torture, What’s especially troubling is how women are portrayed.Female characters are treated as little more than eye candy—dressed and presented solely for visual gratification, with no real depth or purpose." Like many recent big-budget Bollywood films, it relies on star power rather than substance. The plot is disjointed and unimaginative, filled with recycled tropes and outdated physical gags. It’s a stark reminder that Bollywood still struggles with both creativity and progressive representation, I believe Bollywood could learn a lot from the South Indian film industry, which consistently showcases strong family values, cultural traditions, and meaningful relationships. It also tends to portray women with greater respect, often highlighting traditional attire and roles with dignity.
In contrast, this film was a complete disappointment.
