This is not a professional review. Look elsewhere for that. Its not fully thought through, just how i felt after watching it. First off, the makers of the anime are S-Class professional rage-baiters. They knew just how to get under my skin. From the annoyingly hypocritical female lead, to the brutality dished out to the mc and his people. The humiliation of his mentor/lover, and the betrayal and manipulation of the witches who abandoned her, and then wanted to use her for their own gain after her resurrection. The humans who went on a mass hunt just for their own greed. All disgusting. I'm happy the mc went on his rampage. It's just sad he couldn't obliterate the entire city, the disgusting trash, and their spawn. None are innocent in war. When one side decides to pick a fight, they should be ready for their own lives as well as the lives of the "innocent" they love to become forfeit. Anyone thinking that it was wrong for the mc to commit mass murder needs to re-evaluate their outlook. One side signed up for it the moment they raised weapons against the other side. Why should one side be made to suffer, and as soon as the tables turn, that's when we draw lines and plead mercy, that's when we should be "human". Naive thinking like that has no place in any world, real or animated. I hope the makers at least make humankind extinct if there is a season 2. Let them all burn in hell. Aside from that the anime was okay at best. A lot of rage-bait moments just for shock value. The way the king died was lazy and should have been better. And the anime itself was overall a bit predictable. Even i knew the queen was a witch from episode one. Do better. Not gonna lie though, some moments were satisfying, like when the female lead got shot from the sniper. Knew she would have been annoying from first glance. Liked seeing that one soldier getting sliced in the face, and then using his face to fool his team. Hopefully, if there is a season 2, they will improve and make it better than season 1,
