First movie was absolutely fucking based cinematic masterpiece that will have you gripping on to every emotion the movie conveys. Cody was relatable and an absolute mad lad. Chicken Joe was the fucking homie. Surfs up 2 however feels like an absolute garbage corporate sellout of what was an amazing title. At this point I wish the movie was never even made because it scarred by brain to even think that the title was sold to some company that absolutely slaughtered the entire idea behind it for monetary gain. I want to personally find whoever directed this movie and shit on there pillow. They decide it would be a good idea to have fucking Vince mcmanon as a voice actor. Like the guy literally has sexual harassment charges against him. None of the characters display any deep or relatable emotions and quite frankly the animation just looks cheap and wrong. My best recommendation involving this movie is to never watch it so you can preserve surfs up 1 as the masterpiece it is and not have your brain polluted by this actual piece of garbage
