The google reviews proved to be a bait to watch this series. It has an utterly frustrating storyline. The writers tried to combine reality with fantasy somehow but failed so hard. One of the reviews has listed genuine points and I'll just add to it:
1) There was no concept or intervention of government whatsoever. The lieutenant seem to be the only person who was in charge of administrative management while also overlooking all the infected as well as the production of the antibody but in the end he chose to use the cure for personal reasons? Sense of responsibility much?
2) All characters in the series were antagonists except for the 2 leads, the lieutenant and his lackey plus a couple of others. So, as per the writers 90% of the human beings lack humanity.
3) The only thing that was making the story move forward was the endless greed for food and water every 12 hours and fights over it just within a period of 15 days? Instead the writers could've delved deeper into the source of the virus, why was the lead the one with the antibodies?
4) Reiterating, the govt had no role to play to make the lives of the living easier? And no one complained about that either? It was as if the people were living in prehistoric times hunting for food and water and defending themselves from monsters.
5) The lead, the only one with the antibody was left to stay among civilians and wasn't provided any special accommodation. The rest of the infected were given free reign to hunt around. Mind you, the uninfected were quarantined and the infected were roaming freely.
6) The leads had no chemistry at all. Even though the series progressed towards "love conquers all" their love story was totally under developed.
