The best book I've read in my entire life. The gothic themes and irony in this book create the theme of mystery. The characters are so detailed and they immerse you into the story. The first time you read this book you feel like a student at Hampden, trying to fit with the elite academia setting, but the second and third and so forth are so enjoyable and almost comedic whilst the book manages to keep its horror.
Also as a classics student, the ideas of insanity and devotion to a God are so desirable I'm thinking of invoking Dionysus myself now
