I think the short length is a strategy to get you to watch the whole thing. I would have turned this off if it was 1h 30+. A gullible, borderline mentally retarded, protagonist, molasses slow plot development, and ridiculous scenarios throughout make this an absolute slog to get through. Seriously, how could anyone that has seen this give any care about Josefs story/existence or Aaron in general? The picture quality could maybe be forgiven if it somehow added to the movie, or if the movie was good in the first place, but it doesn't, and it isn't. It had a somewhat happy ending since you knew that it was, in fact, ending. Through it all, there is one positive, and that's getting an example of what happens when you plan do defend yourself with just a 911 call.
