There was a fair amount to be commended, it was beautifully shot and the acting was pretty solid. The soundtrack was good too! Additionally, the twist at the end was, after everything, worth waiting for in my opinion.
However, the big let down is the obsessive misandry which drives the entire series. I understand it is delivering a message of how threatening a world of toxic masculinity can be to a woman, but there was a complete absence of any male characters who are not either sex-offenders or enablers of sex-offenders. The message is weakened by being so alienating and twisted in its outlook. Thus, alas, two stars.
