This was a surprisingly good movie. It isn’t the goofy movie you might expect from Johnny Knoxville. This isn’t a movie about a baseball or softball team. This is a movie about addicts in recovery. All in all a good movie with a great performance by Knoxville. Very relatable for anyone in a similar situation.

Sin City 2 is really just a goofy movie IMO. Yes there’s plenty of premium stars in it but the story is lacking and nothing throughout the movie is worth remembering. The fight scenes will make you laugh along with the dialogue. Visually it’s pretty cool but otherwise if it didn’t look cool and have beautiful women in it I would not recommend.

John and the Hole. The title of this movie tells you pretty much everything that happens in this movie. Spoiler Alert- John drugs his family and puts them in an unfinished bunker, the Hole. Nothing really happens the rest of the movie besides one of mom’s friends gets a little worried and shows up a couple of times and there is a side story of a different mom talking to her daughter that decides to leave her. The story doesn’t tie this side story together in any way. Then he lets them out and they eat dinner. There you go, save yourself the time. That’s all that happens.

I am constantly looking for great content to watch and this movie is amazing. It has a beautiful story and visually stunning. Makes you feel youthful again if you’re older and if you’re young it will captivate your imagination. If this movie doesn’t capture your sense of adventure and wonder Im not sure what will.

I just watched this again as an adult and I couldn’t believe just how great this movie is. Visually it is one of the greatest movies I’ve ever watched. Some of the ice creations that Jack Frost makes and whatever the Sand Man (not Adam Sandler) is making are just beautiful. What surprised me the most is how the story really hits towards the end and I found myself getting nostalgic and emotional. Great movie. Watch this again if you haven’t seen in awhile. You won’t regret it.
