I loved it. Deeply emotive - perhaps an album to enjoy on your own in a more reflective moment. Maybe one or two of the classics miss the mark, but on the whole the songs are recreated tenderly, elevating the lyrics and Bono’s voice, which still displays incredible range and feeling. A few tracks, dare I say it, are (in my humble opinion) improvements on the originals. Epic.
