I regularly watch Washington Week with The Atlantic. I have to say that after watching the Friday October 11 show, I was both angry and disheartened. The commentators on the show are treating Trump as if he is a normal candidate. He is not normal– – he is a pathological narcissist, a rapist, a convicted felon, a convicted fraudster, and yet we are talking about which groups he seems to be galvanizing! All this is done with this lightheartedness and smiles that do not fit the existential crisis that we are facing with this character. We need to stop focusing on polls and on how much or how little Harris is talking to the media and focus on the horrific things Trump has done and the devastation that we will experience if he wins this election. The time is NOW to sound the alarm and remind people of what kind of a monster he is.
