This is not your average Kdrama. The story is set in the 1920s during the Japanese occupation of Korea (Joseon) when independence insurgents, the Japanese army, and bandits fought for power and control. The series is packed with incredible action sequences, riveting, suspense-filled stories, and brilliant acting by some of the finest actors. It's an epic fast paced adventure. A must-see series.
I sincerely hope that Netflix's adds another season. The end was too abrupt and I wish it went on for at least the 'regular' 16 episodes. It seemed rushed in the final couple of episodes. I actually had to go back to see if I missed something because there was a huge gap between episodes 8 and 9 - where was the fight between the evil enemy bandit group and the protagonists? Cut short to nine episodes from the planned originally proposed 20 episodes and it's very evident. This did such an injustice to an otherwise brilliant series.
Put out a Second Season please!
