I was expecting a book about “the greatest baseball game ever played-406”. Out of the 222 pages in the book a grand total of 12 pages talked about game 7 of the World Series. Another 4 pages were about the first 6 games of that World Series. The other 200 plus pages is a story of 2 fictional families growing up in the Pittsburgh area in 1960.
I was very disappointed with this book and feel that the title is very misleading. I would have to give this book zero stars.
