This movie handled the difficult back stories with bith of these pretty solid popes. The Marcial Maciel scandal and the Jalics and Yorio affair. Of the latter, there is not too much to condemn Pope Francis for and I agree with Ratsinger's interpretation. At least this didn't follow the treacly sentimental path that a film like this could have followed. Well done overall.
