Fairly certain my review was deleted, so here we go again. What do you get when you combine painfully dull one dimensional characters, atrocious acting, woke cliches, and a writing staff with the intellectual capacity of a middle school student? You get Amazon's Rings of Power. There are so many instances of Tolkien's work being bastardized that I could not name them all if I had a week off and an entire adderall prescription. The dialog is laughable at best and downright insufferable at its worst. They have turned Galadriel, an ethereal goddess like being with magical powers, into a repugnant sword wielding girl boss with a huge ego. She seemingly has no social skills, which is odd for a thousand year old immortal being. I could prattle on endlessly but you get the piont. The show is an embarassment and an insult to the lore and its fans. Do yourself a favor and find a different show to watch.
