I read this with my fourth grade students as a read aloud. They enjoyed learning about Ivy and trying to predict what they thought would happen next. If you enjoy a little magic, and a humble heroine who is learning and discovering herself and the magic she possesses, you will enjoy this good vs. evil story about Ivy going from a little noticed girl into something magnificent.
