So disappointed. This is basically a cowboy movie/true-romance movie. You will learn nothing about the Spanish Civil War except that Gary Cooper and friends are fighting for the Republic (whatever that is) and that the other side is the bad guys. Amazed that Hemingway had anything to do with it beyond choosing the actors. It could have been set anywhere...just Cowboys and Indians.
