Truly another masterpiece by Christopher Nolan, it is entertaining and extremely entertaining and although I couldn’t get to watch it in an Imax theatre coz there aren’t any around me, but if you do have an Imax theatre in your home town…IT IS WORTH THE MONEY AND THE HYPE. The movie is for intellectuals and movie enthusiasts ONLY!!! If you are just a casual movie watcher and don’t know a lot about films or Nolan, then this movie is not for you. Watch MI7 instead it’s amazing too. But yeah about this movie, you do need some context of science and the absolute basics of quantum physics just to grasp the first half of this movie, and if you are from a science background then you’ll thoroughly enjoy and appreciate the movie for what it is and if you don’t have the above said knowledge then you’ll find this movie boring and you’ll go and spread hate which this movie does not deserve. There have been so many subtle metaphorical scenes in this movie that just scream of classical Nolan. It focuses both on the scientific and the political aspects of Oppenheimer’s life and the lives associated with it and tells us how the atomic energy came into existence and how it got harnessed by the world governments which was and IS controversial till this date. And it shows the aftermath of the explosion and how oppenheimer dealt with his grief and guilt and they have aptly compared him to Prometheus(A Greek God) who stole fire from the Olympians and gave it power to man and then how he was tortured by all of Olympia for eternity…THAT’S OPPENHEIMER FOR YOU. The movie lovers will have a blast at this movie just google some basics of quantum mechanics so you can enjoy this movie for what it is
