Corina Hurst

I tend to find musicals annoying, but enjoyed this movie quite a bit. Was it perfect? No. It was long. I think some of the animation could've been better in spots. But overall, the singing and dance was wonderful, the story was moving. Others said they had trouble following, but for the most part I found the storylines quite clear and interesting. The actors were good picks, in my book. I enjoyed seeing a quirky/ awkward but pretty Galinda over a simply bubbly, smiley one. Elphaba was fabulous and sharp. I expected to be a hater, but I really liked it.
