Amazing movie, if you like tricks on your mind and are aware of the symbolism of the movie. The only thing i dont like is the dumb look of the wife. Otherwise brilliant horror terror. So much better than the King book and the mini series. BTW i think King books are so overated, read a few and struggled to finish all of them.

To be fair, the young people of today wouldn't understand this movie considering everything is given to them on a platter with no restrictions. This movie was about a teen who was meant to live in a certain way that was seen as the norm but wanted to be different, free. Being spoiled and having everything available today, they will not understand the chains that we experienced growing up, not the feeling of wanting to break out. This is essentially what the 80's was about, breaking out from the norm, the music of the 80's reflected this. I watched 5 min of the remake, i forgot about it until i started writing this, it was that bad.

Rather watch the original. I just added this sentence cos i needed a min of 30 characters :)

As per the comments by the young people, this movie is for young people. I struggled to get through chapter 1 and watched chapter 2 in bits but never got to finish it. I was totally bored and have no inclination to see the end...yawn. I will watch The Shining and Doctor Sleep rather for the umpteenth time.

I could write a long, thought provoking, descriptive review however....... I fell asleep when i tried to watch the movie and again when i tried to watch the rest of the movie....enough said

Very good, i am not paranoid but it doesn't mean someone isn't watching me. Confirms a lot of what a lot of awake people already know.

Average but the most exciting scene was when Drogon the dragon that flew east at the end of GOT appeared in this movie, now we know what happened to it.

One of the worst movies i have ever seen, disjointed, the 2 criminals at the end just disappear. Lead actress cannot act. Happy love scene in the middle of the crises is laughable. Mel is better than this!

1h30min i will never get back of my life. The worst movie i have ever seen. Seriously bad acting, people do stuff for no reason, people keep running away from each other its so bad. Watching moths on my ceiling for 1h30min would've been better. Won't let me give it 0 Stars!
