As an adult reader of the books, I feel that this is how these stories are meant to be told. Excellent story, score, acting, and decent cinematography and writing. I feel that Rick Riordan’s strengths as an author lay in his story-telling ability rather than his sentence structure and syntax. With the show being very carefully planned by all involved parties, the audience can get all the fun in the original stories without a writing style that over-explains. I think it’s great.
