You already know when rotten tomatoes and some prick at IMDb rate a movie low, it's a must see, great movie!

People are hating on this movie, but it is the plain truth, not all cops are currupt but this is certainly a factor and no doubt this happens, maybe not in such a big scale, I do agree some things are a little touched, but overall this movie was awesome, sad, but awesome, this is a must see movie, and I honestly enjoyed it and would buy the DVD, not something I do a lot. But if you are easily offended, steer clear of this movie. To those who live on what rotten tomatoes says, they are biased, many of my friends have been harassed by the police, and my friend shot and killed, and this movie tells the cold hard truth about that, you shouldn't catagorize people, because at the end of the day, we are all human, we are all the same, the only difference is pigmentation.
