Art and media and violence often go hand in hand because art is about expression and we all have emotions that we choose to express in either healthy or unhealthy ways. But directing violence at other people is never art. I do not condone the use of violence against real people. I do not condone art used as a weapon, retribution, or extortion against innocent people. This show has very irresponsibly and dangerously done so against well-known real people. Fictionalizing someone's death because you dislike them is not treating them with the kindness or dignity that every human being deserves. The pervasive sickness that would lead your creative staff to believe otherwise concerns me for the future of your show, your cast, and you as a broadcaster. Please treat others with more care than you have until this point. Look past the dollar signs, and you will see living breathing beings who are doing their best to survive. Your job is not to make it harder for other people to live their lives in security and happiness.
