This movie is a total waste of time. The whole journey was pointless because all the characters are devoid of common sense, all of it leading to an inevitable set up for a sequel. Even with all the evidence slapping them on the face, the protagonist still refused to accept the truth and in the end was never really a hero because he was only able to save himself. I hope the sequel gets cancelled before its even made.

Story is painfully drawn out and the drama is milked out of the geriatric teet of dried up udders of dying cow. The two main characters seem to have a toxic love hate relationship. The heroine clearly has issues and cant seem to get over and move on with her life and the dude seems to go back and forth about enabling her self destructive behavior which lets her throw herself in dangerous situations and selfishly indulge her wants and need without regard for others.. I find myself cheering for both of their demise. To put it simply, the physical embodiment of the house they left and abandoned is psychotic spirit that wants to keep them trapped in some sort of purgatory where abandoned places come to be destroyed. Clearly a waste of time and i would have preferred to have the grandpa have a more meaningful impact. Ultimately, the psychotic house spirit realizes he has to let them go and go his separate way.
