Brilliant game, my wife and I had so much fun playing it! My only critique is that I wish it was longer! The gameplay is so insanely fun, and it break it up into different gameplay styles and challenges you with new abilities. The side stories are great too! A great change of pace to the chapters, and some of them are just so ridiculously funny. While the writing leans towards a younger audience, it is still really great! In both this and It Takes Two, I found both characters unlikable at the beginning, but by the end I was very fond of them. Loved it. 10/10. Grab someone, and get on this spectacular couch co-op game! Such a breath of fresh air for the industry.

Wish I hadn't bought it. The dialogue and writing are terrible. And it's a BIOWARE game! What's Rooks stake in this? They're just THERE. No goals of their own other than "save the world." Have the writers ever attended basic writing courses? It's all plot happening to the characters, with no real personal ties/internal motivations for the characters. This leads to the game feeling bland and empty. Why should I care?? Just because some BIG BAD will destroy the world?? Ive seen that story a million times before. Make me care! Like Bioware games should! The dialogue choices are also all cliches, and you can't even really be mean... why give us the option if it all boils down to Rook saying the exact same thing in either a positive way, playful way, or slightly stern way? The combat is fine. The environments are pretty. The characters have bizarre proportions. The hand-holdy UI means I hardly ever have to use my brain - feels like im on one of those theme park animatronic rides, tbh. Just tugged along with no real input of my own. I had to turn off all the UI that I could, and it still makes lootables glow, and has a distracting marker that constantly floats around the screen. I do not recommend.
