Spoiler free review- This show will stay with me for this lifetime. Flawlessly written, great attention to the detail, captured the true essence of "hurt people hurt people" but also really how trauma can hold a person hostage regardless of them growing up and their age. Bittersweet & remarkable show with impeccable dark humor and apt depiction of the modern reality. The episodes that truly stood out for me are free churro, times arrow & the view from hall way down. Free churro is one such episode that I keep rewatching every now and then to find solace. The ending had me weeping. I'd give anything to watch this show for the first time again. I hope they make this masterpiece into a novel as well! One of the TV shows where you end up finding more and more details about it the more you pay attention to it. Needless to say, please do give it a shot. By season 2 you'd be hooked up!
