I can definitely understand the low reviews others gave.
It was mildly entertaining, and Danny Trejo was cool, but this little film couldn't seem to decide whether the boys were the protagonists or the antagonists. I didn't feel any pity or sorrow for any of them. Their brutality negated any chance of that and I cheered when the hammer of justice fell on their necks.
An attempt seemed to be made to make Rufus Buck look like a misunderstood poet. He came off correctly as a delusional psychotic rapist and murderer.
I also didn't see the "woke" tropes that someone else said were in the film. The Marshal gave all of them a fair chance and even worked with a Native and shared a drink with him at the end of the film while thanking him.
So, my verdict: watch if you are bored and need something to pass the time but it's not worth a re-watch in my opinion.
