Overall I strongly disliked this movie. The plot was very confusing and hard to follow so at some points I did not understand what was going on. I waited for the whole movie for the main question I had to answer but the ending was a disappointment and did not sum up the movie or give an explanation to how things were able to happen. Firstly the plot to me was not clear and seemed like the main character was just trying to make everybody see the world, thus killing them. This left me wondering for the entire movie how he was able to see the creature and not die but nearly everyone else in the world would die if they saw the creature. Then after the entire movie they still did not sum up the movie or even give an explanation for why this guy was special and not anyone else. Another problem with this movie is that it felt like a cheap knockoff of the original movie, just in another language. I did not enjoy the dubbing of this movie as I didn’t understand why they would make the original movie in English but then change it for a bad spinoff. The beginning of the movie was nearly exactly the same as the original version when he was running around on the phone. To me this felt like it was a cheap off brand movie with a horrible plot. The ending to me seemed very silly and definitely did not sum up the movie and left me wondering even more questions. The ending seemed very similar to the first movie where they find a blind people's home who are unaffected by the monsters however in this movie the army had set up a camp and had a lab. I did not understand how it was possible for them to get all this equipment to a place unlike the first movie which had a clear explanation. Also once again I will say how it did not explain how the main guy is able to see but not many others can. Another reason why this movie was bad was due to the cast. Unlike the first movie this movie's cast was nothing special. In the original movie there was a great cast and all did an amazing job to portray their characters. However in this movie the cast was ordinary and sometimes even worse than ordinary. There were no big names in the cast and the movie would have been better if they got some more well known actors in it. So this movie is definitely not worth watching and instead you should go and watch the original bird box. This version of the movie was just a cheap knockoff with a mediocre cast. The storyline is very confusing and hard to follow which makes this movie unenjoyable. I recommend that you don't make the mistake of wasting 110 minutes of your time on this movie and instead find a better movie to watch. Don't waste your time on this.
