This movie is a gross misstep in the wrong direction of empowering women and creating meaningful and dignified portrayals of women in filmed entertainment. Things are not acceptable just because one calls it “art.” The concepts put forth in this poor thing include suicide, misuse of power and sheer Ignorance of the psyche of blossoming womanhood. In fact, it made an absolute mockery of what it is like to grow up a young girl into a womanhood. It is an abominable movie primarily on account of the most disgusting ideas it’s depositing into the hearts and minds of females of all ages, who may happen across this garish movie. I have no idea why any of the very talented actors and actress said yes to this. I very rarely use my voice in a negative manner, but we as an industry, and we as humanity are saying yes to too many things that are not acceptable and are in turn eroding the core decency required to be a civilized people.

I love it for what it is...I also wrote it, so I am biased. It's hard to get a movie made at all...let alone to rewrite a screenplay, package, schedule, shoot and post one in a months time...then go out and get distribution...I am honored to have been an unknown part of HIGH HOPES.
