It would really help if you've consumed some outside media before going to see this. There's an incredible amount of characters that many books have devoted many chapters on. You get about 3 minutes screen time with each. I'd understand anyone who felt lost in this film. It's just a string of scenes that come at a furious pace. But there are great periods of tension with good pay offs. This film did have 3 or 4 logical roll credits moments though.
