It’s OK. The racism, sexism and homophobia are pretty outdated. The show even manages to stigmatise PTSD at one point - in a black female character. Seems to be going for a strange quadrella in some sort of prejudice sweepstakes, with all those components going on. But if you switch your brain off for a bit and pretend you’re watching a show from 1997, about a straight white dude fighting to save his family (mostly a “maiden in distress” wife) from evil people who happen to be black and are either gay or have PTSD, it’s fine to have on while you’re eating dinner or something. The performances are good, storylines are OK.
