I was so excited to watch this movie, I cleared an hour and forty minutes from my schedule to watch it. Unfortunately, it fell short in many ways. The scenes cut back and forth too much. There were MAJOR plot holes inbetween. Many aspects of the book were missing. Peris never turned into a special in the book. Peris and Tally didn't have ANY development in their scenes. The only highlight for me was the unused weird language Mr. Westerfield came up with in his book (i.e) "Tallywa" "Shayla" This honestly deserves 1 star.

We dont need woke things in children shows. LET KIDS BE KIDS!!
