— No Spoilers —
I am, much like many of the other viewers, big into both the survival and post apocalyptic media. It’s true what they are saying about the “silly” mistakes that make it frustrating to watch Liv struggling through the wilderness without the insights we have.
Even with that being said, it was a thought provoking, emotional, visually beautiful, and well acted show.
Barrera absolutely sold it. I hadn’t seen her in anything yet and it was great to see this performance. The way she navigated all of the varied emotions of grief and loss was genuinely beautiful.
My gripe is with one plot point from the end of the 5th episode. No spoilers so no details, but if you know you know!

TLDR:
Hang your survival knowledge at the door, yes I know you could do better than her, and watch a story about what keeps you going and what haunts you when you’re facing your potential end.
