After reading many reviews, I purchased this book. I felt both sadness and disappointment as I read the book. The author very cleverly links his beliefs and his material desires to spiritual teachings. Jesus's teachings were not about gold, wealth, fine wine or fine clothing. The author seeks to empower himsef to acheive personal wealth by presenting his selfish path as Jesus endorsed. He presents the teaching of his principles as his discipleship from Jesus. This is the worst of false teachings. He is not following Jesus. He is following a selfish low path to gain wealth. His "principles" are a mix of false teachings and credible spiritual beliefs. Is there any better life than following Jesus's actual life? He possessed no land, had no wealth, wore simple clothing and certainly did not sell his teachings only to those wealthy enough to afford exorbitant speaking fees or through sold books that only the small community of literate could read. If one's real truth and growth are found in relationship to spirit, why are we wasting money and time for a stand in manipulative anti Christ. I feel anger at myself for being another gullible person who, by buying his book, has been part of the group of people enriching yet another arrogant, blind, greedy white man. Far better to have spent the time I wasted reading this book in prayer and joining the money I spent on this book with others to empower those who are not entitled white men. The author's idea of an extraordinary life is not mine and it is without a doubt not Jesus's.
