Le gris is innocent, my analysis is telling me the lady had willing cheated her husband and got pregnant at the act. Inoder to protect her image and safety she tried to be the victim and leaving Le Gris no ground to stand on since accepting either excuses of rape or willing engagement would be still adultery punishable by death. Just my opinion!
