The Werid Asians

I’m 9 episodes into this “drama” and I have yet to figure out the plot. THERE IS NO PLOT. The only thing this k-drama has going for it is that the actors are good looking. That’s it. It’s super repetitive with the “female begins to fall, and then male potential love catches her just in time, then they stare into each other’s eyes in slow motion as the background music plays.” It happens at least TWICE every episode. At first it’s cute, and then it’s just annoying. Don’t even get me started on the “girl has boy best friend who secretly likes her but girl doesn’t like him.” AND THE OVERUSED CEO WHO FALLS FOR THE GIRL WHO WORKS FOR HIM. This k-drama is as basic as it gets. The reason why I gave this k-drama 2 stars is because some of the romantic scenes can give you butterflies, but other than that this show is boring asf. Same thing occurs every episode. And how is no one talking about the lead male who is a plain jerk and pervert! Where is the character development? Seems to me like his personality is being good looking and egotistical because of his job. And the girl has no personality either, other than being “adorable” and having no drive, no passions, no opinions, nothing. THE GUY KEPT THE GIRL’S BRA PAD AND PUT IT IN A JEWELRY BOX FOR THREE. YEARS. I’m shocked the girl hasn’t had a restraining order against him. But anyway, if you want another MUCH BETTER k-drama, I HIGHLY recommend Strong Girl Bong Soon. At least it has A FREAKING. PLOT.
