Listen. Maybe it's because i'm only on S1E8. Maybe it's because i just watched the far superior My Lady Jane. But good gosh this show is infuriating! Francis is terrible! Mary! Mary my gosh where is your clarity of mind, wit, and sharp tongue! I was loving this show until this golden retriever idiot decided to "put her in her place" after she balked at him housing a former lover and not respecting that she was uncomfortable. My dude, you just commited to loving and serving her. Wtf. And you continue this stupidity of sleeping with someone and declaring "love" for Mary. Mary, damn it all just kick him in the balls. And dont get me started on the older man abuse between the King and Kennah. Directors, why are you playing soft romantic music in those scenes?!? Does she murder him one day? Where is the feminine rage!?!? I feel so robbed.
