This book has left me confused. I never look at book reviews, yet I needed help understanding how it made me feel... Yes, it is depressing, the characters are petty and full of hatred. They’re disgustingly selfish, in a way that leaves a deep sick feeling in my stomach... The problem is that her characters are real, they’re hyper real. She portrays a dirtiness that’s exists in this world, one that’s hard to look at and hard to swallow. There were many times when reading, that I closed the book, broken hearted and prayed to God... why oh why are people like this? Would I read again? No. Would I recommend to a friend? No. Is it a bad books? No.
