I have seen a lot of documentaries and read lots of articles about the battle in Mosul but this is my first time seeing a movie out of it. Just from watching the first half of the movie, I already had goosebumps from how realistic it was. It was as if I'm watching a documentary of the battle again and not a Movie. It really captured the heroes sacrifices just to bring back their land from the Daesh. Me, being a Filipino, who lived just 7 hours away from Marawi where it was once occupied by the Maute Group who came hand to hand with ISIS to establish the first Islamic City in South East-Asia, it did nothing but bring back all the memories I had going back. I had nothing greater to wish for than for all the terrorist group be gone in this world and make the world peaceful once again.
