Beautiful and Powerful Storytelling. Wu Kang Ren - not a single word was uttered by you in this masterpiece but you in entirety, body, face, eyes were speaking so deeply and profoundly to us that it moved us to the realm of sadness and despair that we possibly could never understand.
World Class Acting right there, Kang Ren. You deserve all the accolades and praises. I absolutely loved your scene with the Monk while in jail and how you tried to leave Adik in the bus when you disembarked and took off your ear piece (not to hear the bus leaving)
Pudu served as a tearful backdrop, with all its noisy food stalls but largely forgotten by the other side of the city, TRX (modern, luxurious, upmarket, fake).
I saw the movie after I wrote reviews on Imigresen KL and JPN, along with its Little Napoleans. From the movie, it seems that the challenge I faced with Imigresen KL was nothing compared to the stateless/ without official identification papers.
Again, world class Storytelling.
