I've always loved the Delta Force series. I've played the first one, the second one, Land Warrior and Black Hawk Down, and I've loved all of them. Task Force Dagger doesn't seem to fall into the "good" category for a variety of reasons, even if it's supposedly an expansion pack to Land Warrior, it's oddly inferior.
There's a large variety of firearms, but most of them serve no point due to no weapon restrictions and almost all of them being just like one another. M24 and M40A1 are the same thing with one extra round in one, and both of them are pointless when you've got the AWM, whose stats are superior. Similarly, AUG and SA80, and M4/M203 and M16/M203 are basically useless when you've got the OICW. They've spammed more weapons just for the sake of quantity without any significant variety.
Voice acting is extremely bad and lackluster. The protagonist doesn't speak most of the time. That's nonsensical after coming off of Land Warrior. The High Command sounds bored as hell instead of professional. Models like the Black Hawk are absurdly inferior to those in Land Warrior, like... why not just reuse the same model? Why create a new one? Some missions lack buildings completely, some missions have obstacles lacking collision. The map editor lacks proper wireframes which makes it hard to determine the size of objects, and the mission set lacks any variety. The designers had an apparent fetish for underground tunnel mazes, with one mission completely broken because an AI companion's path is blocked which makes it impossible to escort him.
Needless to say, this seems like a bad fan-made attempt at an expansion pack.
