I loved this game in its beta days. I was one of the few people that would play and defend it tooth and nail. But this update was severely disappointing. This game is awful now. It’s completely broken too. Like you can’t even do Jake’s special up attack without the game lagging or it ending the game. Now with Superman you can no longer throw the opponent up out of the map, you can only throw them sideways. Then you have them not letting you change characters in rematches, but you can rematch until infinity. Like who comes up with these silly ideas? I don’t care how many characters you add to the game now, I’m stuck with only one in any match up. The literal selling point of the game is the characters, and with how much money we’ve spent on the overpriced garbage now they’re limiting their playability? Oh it’s because you want to encourage people to play the game a certain way? What are they the thought police? Take the training wheels off, let us pick our dang character in a rematch. And stop buffing characters. Or at least if you do give them something else as a replacement. I actually really enjoyed this game when it came out and I was one of the people who defended it. Now it’s indefensible. If they don’t fix it, I’m staying on the hate bandwagon.
