I agree with the other reviewers who mostly said that Miranda July's was talented and engaging, but the heroine was too much for me to take. Reminded me a bit of Didion's Play It As It Lays, except that her heroine had a.reason for angst, and a purpose in her self absorbed wanderings. I kept looking for any self awareness on the part of this woman, other than simple boredom with "some fame". Without some development of mind, the soft porn was not enough to keep me interested.
