At its core, the storyline is a very mediocre isekai/anti-hero anime with too many plot inconsistencies and discrepancies. The character's development, or lack thereof, is poor to shallow at best. Riddled throughout the series is an abundance of cheap personality traits coated in an oversimplification of human complexity without authentic substance or grit, resulting in vapid and caricatured narcissistic characters. The animation is good, as expected of the studio.
