It's quite an unserious movie, that is overly theatrical making it more appealing to little children. It’s a shame because the book plot is great but this movie fails to reach the same depth as the books. They should have made the movie follow the lead of other book adaptations like Harry Potter or the hunger games, where it’s not only something kids would enjoy watching.
I’ve watched it once, and I would not watch it again.
I hope there can be a better adaptation, but there probably won’t be, so I’ll just continue reading the book series.
