I wanted to like this, but it's too painfully bad. The writing and plot are frenetic, whackadoodle, and take you way beyond an enjoyable suspension of disbelief. I also never want to hear the word "relic" again.

This show is "based" on the book about to the extent that the title is the same. The book is much more interesting.
