The show has a great hooking pilot episode. The plot development was good, except towards the end. It was messy and all over the place. Essentially this show follows the same tech addict, capturing the human conscious, technology globalism, technology addiction, pros and cons of the internet, sci-fi themes. The problem is that toward the last 3 episodes are filled with irrelevant and illogical scenes. Illogical behavior. Irrelevant new characters, and relationships. Many main strong characters died too fast and too soon. And for such strong characters who were driving the show, their deaths were too insignificant.It felt like watching a Jason movie plot. Filled with a lot of horr movies cliche The plot was inconsistent with its own main characters, and had them act contrary to their profile. The last poi t is that they lack

I had high hopes for this MK. For me this 2021 Mortal Kombat was not up to par with the late version. Storyline was all over the place, and had too much dialogue. Acting part was unconvincing for some of the actors. On the flip side the graphics and effects were awesome, and the fighting scene were great. I feel like if the stuck with the original storyline line it would have been a better movie. Overall I did not enjoyed this movie at all. It is one of those bad remaking if a perfect classic.

This movie was made for a selective audience. If you don't have the slightest appreciation for classic music and broadway, you might find it hard to watch. And if you don't like to explore and discover different art forms, then you might not have the patience to let it grow on you. This is every bit charming and I think that critics did not give it a chance. Luckily it found its way to streaming platforms where it might get a second chance. It is so full of grace and beauty.
